Bill and I seem to be addicted to shows on the BBCA. One of our all time favorite shows is the BBC version of Coupling. Nevermind the crappy US version. The BBC version is hysterical. We have become dorky watchers of the new Doctor Who episodes, also on the BBC. And then the Doctor Who spinoff show, Torchwood. We watch some really dorky tv. Maybe it's a lack of other shows of quality on tv now - but we have gotten into Top Gear, also a BBCA show. Except it's about cars. And anyone that knows me knows that I don't care about cars. As long as I get from point A to point B, with a radio and air conditioning, I don't care what it looks like, sounds like etc. But this show does funny things with cars. For example, they did a hyper-mileage challenge, they tried to race a bugatti (sp?) and some kind of really small Cessna - see who could get from Italy to London first. Surprisingly, the bugatti won. It's a funny show, it's totally about cars but they do it in a way that is entertaining and now obnoxious. It's not a car advertisement. I think my dad might think it's funny - if mom will let him watch an episode!
